Gov. Greg Abbott will be pulling funding to Texas Schools and Districts that will refuse to go back to in-person learning after the 8 week period and refusing a virtual option. With the Mask mandate that doesn't require people to wear masks, vaccines for people older than the age of 12, and large school numbers, students are bound to get sick. Texas Public Schools have started for less than a week and now Pediatric cases are at an all-time high. For some students, in-person learning is a must, and that option should stay open to them, but for those who are high-risk, virtual learning is their safest option. This petition is to shine a light on the issue and to allow schools virtual learning and still receive funding. Please sign for your child, family, and your own safety.
