Stop Senator Claire McCaskill's push for Prescription Drug Monitoring Program in Missouri

We wish to stop Claire McCaskill's push for a Prescription Drug Monitoring System in Missouri. These records are used against patients by law enforcement agency's, child protective services and many other entities without a warrant and that is a violation of our fourth amendment rights. Prescription opioids are not fueling the overdoses in this country, the heroin and illegal fentanyl coming from China and Mexico is. Senator McCaskill has repeatedly put out false numbers in her statistics about opioids in this bogus "epidemic". Like her claim that we have 5% of the world's population, but 80% of the opioids. There are over 100 million people in this country suffering from chronic pain. Of those who do get presription opioids and take them as prescribed, about .5% will EVER abuse those meds. Most doctors will tell you that they have only experience maybe a handful of patients in their entire career who were not in compliance with their rules. Just because we suffer from pain, does not mean that we don't deserve the same treatment as anyone else. We are tired of being targeted and being labelled as addicts. There is a big difference addiction and physical dependence. We don't get high off my medication, we live life normally like the rest of you do.
