We bought a nexus device to receive updates quickly. Most of us are willing/expecting a few bugs in updates but we still want them! If you still want to do testing then allow us to set our phones to accept beta updates or something!

My phone on LTE gets less than LTE speeds, so why am I paying Verizon for this wonderful network if I can't utilize it's speed on my phone...

Here are the issues:
1. 3G-4G hand off and vice-versa take forever. The moment is gone before I need the data. I brag about the device being the fastest but it hits Murphy's Law of "If anything can go wrong, it will" when I am trying to display something to my friends. Utter BS!

2. Battery life is pathetic. I am a network engineer and when I am on call, which is every 3rd week, I go through 2 extended batteries a day, just trying to keep with pages, checking NOC statuses, etc. Utter BS # 2. On regular basis, I have to constantly keep an eye on it.

3. My wife has a CDMA VZ iPhone and she charges it every 3rd day ... wtf !

4. Google Music Player crashes like it's designed to crap out on you when the best part of the song is about to come on. Major Duschy bug !! BS # 3.

5. Navigation takes for ever to sync up with the satellite as if its still waiting for the rocket carrying sat payload to make a lift off .... who knows how many times I missed an exit or destination b/c the freaking thing was still looking for a satellite ... in open sky !! I guess the space debris is getting in the way ... touche, spacemen, with your spaceshit blocking the signal :-/

6. Did I mention the battery life sucks? While writing this petition, it beeped for more juice ... like a kid .. always whining for more juice.

7. Freaking thing reboots for no reason. Wish I could just bounce from work for couple hours and come back and tell my manager .. hey .. i need an upgrade!

Because I paid $299 for a Premium device that doesn't work. It rebooted daily..drops 3G connection..takes 6 seconds for the screen to rotate...and speaker goes out.

I bought this phone a few months back due to my Motorola DroidX had a water accident. I have always been so anti-iPhone (dont want to be apart of that yuppy crowd), but thanks to wonderful verizon/google marriage i am ready to join the yuppies. This thing is a very expensive POS of a phone. LIke everyone else im having the same random BS issues with dropped calls, phone rebooting, locking up, you name it its happening. In addition to this petition i think everyone should start calling verizon customer service on a daily basis until we finally get the full google experience it was marketed as.

I bought this phone to get a away from the bloatware and the cheesy overlays the phone manufactures place over Android. I was ready to buy an iPhone 4S, but went with the Verizon GNex. I have been a Verizon customer for years and have been happy with their service, but they killed the Nexus name and what it stands for. I had a Droid RAZR before this and I really liked the phone, but the Antennas went haywire the Verizon Engineer allowed me to exchange my phone. Everyone was out of the iPhone 4S, so I went with what I thought was the best option available. I was wrong! Dead wrong!! Random Reboots, Horrible Audio, Ghost Dialing, 3G to 4G cutover not smooth. The only way to truly have the Google Nexus experience is to purchase the unlocked phone and sign up for a GSM service provider. Stay Away from this imposter Nexus phone! It should be called the Galaxy Faux Nexus!!! If Apple can update their phones without Verizon interference then Google needs to put its big boy pants on and tell Verizon to get their claws out of the Nexus. The Android OS is nothing but a scam! Verizon pushes this OS because it is a money making Boon for them. It is the most fragmented software eco system in the history of smartphones! Google offeres alot of great services, but Operating Systems is not one of them. Say what you will, but Android is nothing more than a mass produced OS so every cell phone manufacturer can produce a "smart phone"! This is the LAST Android OS device I ever buy!

Nexus devices SHOULD be exempt from all the Verizon politics and treated like the flagship device for which it was intended. Signal issues, dropped calls, etc. should ALL be other carriers problems and not Verizons! Quit with all the behind-the-scenes crap and give us the same consideration, updates: (4.0.4/5) and quick responses to customer problems that both Verizon & Samsung have already extended to the GSM owners. Update, update...UPDATE!!!

i am signing thing petition because i am tired of waiting for updates on a device that was designed to receive updates directly by google. i left my last carrier for this phone on a better network and for this device that was released exclusively on verizion network. i am beyond angry my rage has gotten to the point where i just want to turn into the HULK and tell one or the both companies to release the update or HULK WILL SMASH. i am all for change here with this madness if it will open the eyes of verizon or google to push forward what issues i have been stuck with for just about half a year. i will gladly sign

Paid full price (now a few months later price drop of $100) to be an early adopter of the next-gen Android on a Nexus device. Since then no support, or concern for that matter from VZW in regard to all our issues!
