I am not signing for disability reasons, but do I really have to learn Korean to watch CreamHeroes? Youtube seems to think so!

Accessibility is crucial. Removing captions discriminated against non English speakers and those with disabilities.

There is no justifiable reason to remove community submitted closed captions. I am not deaf, I speak English, but I almost always have closed captions on. I rely heavily on Closed Captions because a lot of my favorite youtubers speak a different language from me.

I am deaf and am dependent in captions to know what is being said. Taking away captions from the deaf is discriminatory on your part.

I’m a Deaf user myself and I use YouTube and it’s appalling that YouTube want to discriminate against Deaf people. This shouldn’t happen!

I’m signing because I rely on closed captioning due to severe hearing loss

We need to hit YouTube where it hurts to make any change. Please sign https://www.change.org/p/google-inc-boycott-youtube-for-the-deaf-on-august-19 and join me in boycotting YouTube for the deaf on August 19.

Thanks for adding your voice.
