Remove the need for developers to reveal their physical addresses publicly on Google Play

Google has started to post developers' addresses on Google Play

Before getting started, I apologise for not posting an update earlier, as I was very busy. Anyway, let's get to the point. Google has blatantly ignored the fundamental privacy rights of indie developers, and has choose to carry on ahead to post the addresses of developers whose apps are paid or contain in-app purchases. As Android Police's article states, "The business address (of a developer) has always been available in Google Wallet to anyone who did business with a developer, but posting it publicly on the listing is much different." Business addresses for indie developers will only mean their home addresses, as it is the only address for their use. The response has been encouraging, with over 300 supporters for the campaign. However, we are still pretty far away from our target of ten thousand supports - such a large number is needed as we have to show Google, as well as the internet, that a huge number of people do care about this issue and that it should not be taken lightly. Thus, I call on all supporters to share this petition to your friends, families, colleagues, classmates, social media, etc. Together, I believe that we will be able to make a strong impact and give a clear message to Google. Thank you for your time. -Lawrence
