I used an address associated with PO boxes, but without a PO # or any indication that it was for PO Boxes.

Google must have detected this and "forcibly" changed it to my IMO confidential home address, with no notice to me.

Now that Android is dominant, Google doesn't care about we small developers any more.

Between this, and app bans for various silly reasons, Google SUCKS !

This is simply not okay to do to small developers like me

I sign this petition, because I'm an Android app developer from Austria, who wants to bring up innovative apps in the Play Store, but I am concerned about stalkers and psychopaths, and I don't want anyone to stand in front of my door I don't know.

If anyone at Google sees this, think about it. Innovations by smaller developers might be stop updating because the developer has been killed/enslaved/etc!

Annoying as hell if you're a freelancer!

I'm an independent developer who works out of the house. I really don't want my home address listed just because I make apps.

Individuals should not be required to list their home address for safety reasons.

As I am an independent developer who works from home in my spare time I don't wish to expose my home address (which I share with my family) to the public. I see no need for this condition and I feel it violates my personal rights and those of the people I live with.

Would like to publish for Android, but not willing to give out my home address.
