The deplorable business of Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery is being conducted seemingly with the tacit acquiescence of companies such as Google and Facebook.

Domestic workers, many of whom come originally from countries in Africa and Asia to work in Arab Nations such as Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are systematically having their passports seized and confiscated on arrival by their Employers. Some are subsequently being bought and sold for profit using Apps such as Instagram.

Despite having robust statements and policies which condemn such practices on their platforms, companies such as Google and Facebook have failed to shut down these 'Slavery' Apps or otherwise prevent them from conducting this sickening trade in human lives via their platforms.

They must be forced to do so.
