Problem
Furries are every day getting hate and harassment to the point were people make jokes about hunting down and shooting people with this interest as if they were truly animals.
Before you close the page let me tell you about a common misconception. There are 2 types of Furries: Fetish and Fandom. Fetish Furries are not truly furries but people with a fetish for animals. That's were all the "furry porn" comes from. Most of this art however does not come from real furries but people with fetishes and haters trying to feed fuel to the fire, so they can continue harassment.
What is a real furry? If you are wondering here is the true definition: "an enthusiast for animal characters with human characteristics, in particular a person who dresses up in costume as such a character or uses one as an avatar online." . There is all the proof i need to set both apart.
So how can you help? Simple. Use the hashtag #FurryPride were ever you can, accompanied with a link to this petition. We must protect the furry community.

Have most social networks ban strong hate on furries and other similar groups. Examples of this hate are: Comments like; KILL FURRYS or ITS furry hunting season, hate videos, and false facts on furry to make them look bad.

I am a young furry who stumbled across a video directed on supporting and protecting furry community. The video was truthful and had a good message about acceptance behind it. But the hate that video received.... It was unbearable. So unbearable in fact after I commented requesting to hide the comments I closed the page. I'm making this to keep things like this from happening ever again.
