Columbus is an incredibly shameful part of American history and should never be celebrated.  This cololinzer commited horrific crimes against the Indigenous people who were here first. Christopher Columbus is synonymous with genocide. We do not need a day to celebrate him. We now have Indigenous People's Day. 

Sign this petition to tell Google we do not want a day to celebrate genocide glued to our calendar with no way to delete it. We must treat American history the same way that Germany has treated the Holocaust. It should taught from the perspective of the Indigenous people and honor Indigenous People as the sole focus of this day.

Google: Remove Columbus Day from your calendar. Leave only Indigenous People's Day on this day every year to give rightful recognition and a small act of reconcilliation to the true natives of this stolen land we live on.
