Why Parle G you ask?
Parle Products was established as a confectionery maker in the Vile Parle suburb of Mumbai, in 1929. It began manufacturing biscuits in 1939. In 1947, when India became independent, the company launched an ad campaign, showcasing its Gluco brand of biscuits as an Indian alternative to British-branded biscuits.
It's what people want!
Parle G is an Indian iconic brand. A lot of people like don't like Oreo but I'm sure they'll love Parle G. It is time to acknowledge Indian brands, Google. India deserves it and a lot of people are asking for it. You got to give people what they actually want.
It fits the Android naming convention.
Parle G is quite a sweet biscuit and Google names Android only after sweets and confectionery items. So it fits the naming scheme and Google won't have to go out of their way to achieve what we demand.
