This petition is for companies like google, Facebook, Tiktok, and other apps who collect our information and uses it against us like targeted ads for instance. They know more information about us than anyone should know and they bind it with their services. You have to remove your gmail account for google to get rid of your data for a lot of people they use gmail for business so they must comply to their information being taken and that’s not right. If a regular person were to collect data on you and then tell you “if you want me to get rid of it give me your car that you use to get to work” that’s considered stalking and blackmail and extortion yet companies do this with absolutely no consequences. They get to stalk and blackmail us and don’t realize that it makes us more prone to cyber attacks on our information because it’s already on that platforms database. It has been proven time and time again that these platforms don’t care about our security or our safety and they only change to make it seem like they care when they’re caught only to revert back to the same ways except hidden better. Let’s keep our information better protected and keep these platforms from blackmailing us and stalking us together
