In light of what is happening around the world due to the COVID19 outbreak, it is vital to keep our NSW residents informed of the localised outbreak within our community.

Unfortunately, data provided around the news / social media does not show meaningful information that would reflect on virus transmission happening locally.

In response we have created an interactive website earlier this week with the intent to raise awareness in the community for the spread of COVID19. This map features listing the number of confirmed cases by suburb, heat map and ranking by using an easy to read graphical representation. 

At present our website has exceeded 400,000 visits in the last 24 hours, far exceeding our expectations. Given that our website utilises the Google Cloud Platform to provide geographical information we are being charged accordingly. To date this service has attracted in excess of AUD$2,500 and if we were to continue the cost of maintaining it will rise dramatically.

In order for us to keep this service running we need your help with raising more awareness to Google so that they can back us further with this community project without furthering our financial burden.
