i am sooo mad right now. This is robbery plain and simple. Its like stealing cash straight from our pockets. It really is, period. End of story.
Yes it really is some sort of way to trick wall street or something like they say. We are paying from our pockets to increase share price next quarter.

This is clearly GOOG's attempt to con Wall Street into believing their previously poor + underperforming 'mobile' strategy is now miraculously performing and increasing at an exponential rate.

Like many of the changes done solely to keep beating Wall Street's quarterly estimates by a few pennies, some ambitious engineer in the mobile department got this great idea late one night ... "I got it! We'll just force advertisers into targeting phones + tablets! Most will be none the wiser. I'm brilliant. Promotion time."

This 'make changes=beat Street estimates on demand' formula of Google's is largely based on a reliable, steady stream of new small advertisers who not only will overbid which serves to keep CPC+CPM artificially inflated - but who are so intimidated + overwhelmed by the UI that they will just leave the 200+ default and Google-recommended settings as is at least for awhile. I mean hell, their motto is DO NO EVIL. So surely we can definitely trust they want what is in our best interest and want us to succeed long term. Yeah surely, so I'll just leave the default as 'Target Anyone In The World, Including Nigeria, With Eyes and/or No Eyes"

We want to target ONLY mobile devices. Is impossible with the new enhanced campaigns.
