There are already so many apartments surrounding this location. The grocery store benefits those who live around Northgate. It’s perfect because it’s walking distance. Many of the residents, who are low income, cannot afford transportation to travel for their groceries elsewhere. Also, we don’t need more traffic to surround this location. The streets recently became more narrow on 5th street. This wouldn’t benefit them either, traffic wise.
Tired of parking far away and being chased by drug addicts/homeless/metally ill. Waiting 2 hours at night to find a parking spot to get to my house.
If you are the developer and reading this good luck with keeping all the units rented your tenants will experience the same. Stabbings up & down 4th Street , homeless issue in downtown, The fires across from the post office caused by the homeless issue.
THE TENANTS WILL GET A RUDE AWAKENING BCS ITS SURROUNDING BUILDINGS ARE AFFORDABLE HOUSING SO DON'T EXPECT LUXURY!!!
Santa Ana needs affordable housing, not high cost luxury apartments. Its also disgusting that their reps stated that affordable housing units wouldnt go with "the image" of the area. Such a statement reinforces prejudice towards folks who are struggling.
