Sunland are planning to build the largest development in Palm Beach. This development is located less than 400m from local Primary School Boundaries and will consist of 2 towers. These towers are OVER current density restrictions and OVER current height restrictions.
The development is located at a busy intersection and the traffic will be entering and exiting from local residential streets. The development has 2 entries to close (less than 6m apart) to each other creating traffic and vehicle confusion - Plans MUST be changed to allow one intersection. Sunland are aware of this - but would prefer to go against TMR objections so they can keep another 2 townhouses on the site
Sunland are quoting traffic figures from an OLD TMR report. A new TMR report MUST be submitted.
The local residents are concerned for the safety of local Primary aged school children.

Sunland and the local and State governments should assess access into highrise development on and off Gold Coast Highway - keeping traffic away from school and off residential streets.
