May 7, 2020 —

Thank you all for signing our petition! Over the few weeks, since we started this petition, the Aarogya Setu app has crossed a whopping 80m+ downloads.

To speed the process of implementation, we have explored how this platform could be used to tackle domestic abuse. The storyboard attached explains our concept.

Today, we are all living in a locked-down world. In India, many shops and services have resumed. Just this week, liquor stores were re-opened, and that could add to the existing domestic abuse problem. Hear this podcast that features our petition, along with inputs from the NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma, IPS Officer Anuradha Shankar, and independent journalist and #MeToo Campaigner Rituparna Chatterjee.

Please share our petition, and help us reach the 25,000 signature mark.

Stay home, stay safe, and raise your voice,
Arushi and Meru
