Dear God/Yahweh/Jesus/Allah/Ram:

We the people of the earth have been missing Your Holiness’ presence for centuries. You have stopped sending prophets and messengers. Yet, we are in awe of your superpowers as you majestically run this entire universe, all by yourself. 

We have tried sending you prayers but those have failed. Some of us highly doubt that you can hear those prayers. So, we came up with this new type of collective prayer. We can only assume that, given your superpowers, you must have access to high-speed Internet and be able to view the unfiltered web and read this prayer (now called a ‘petition’ in the 21st century).

We urge you to take a much-needed break from your busy but monotonous schedule of running the universe. We will show you the creations of your creatures (us, humans), from our tall skyscrapers to our vertically-landing rockets or our fast hyperloop transport concept vehicles that are some of the state-of-the-art technologies – made only possible because some of us took a break from our monotonous lifestyles of attending synagogues, churches, mosques, and temples to instead exploring the world we are blessed with – the world you created for us.

Like those of us who took the break to do some of these un-Godly things, I think you also need a break, dear Lord. You might get some fresh ideas from us to create something even more beautiful than us flawed, imperfect humans. We will show you some of the problems we are facing on earth, from poverty and hunger to climate change. Maybe, with your superpowers, you can either directly help us with your much talked about but less witnessed miracles, or if those are a bit too much to ask for, then give us your godly suggestions and advice so we can solve these problems.

This petition is just as serious as all the other petitions! Please do not laugh at it for the fear that you will make God angry. Please sign the petition and let us hope and pray that God will finally hear (or read) this prayer (or petition).
