Vainguinim Valley Residents Association started this petition to Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority and

Need a few minutes of your time to bring your attention to Vainguinim Beach - A small local beach in Goa.
While Goa still recovers from Cyclone Tauktae. A Hotel at Vainguinim Beach Goa continues to construct a concrete slab along the entire high tide line on a public beach! The residents and local fisherman in the area have tried everything from contacting the local panchayat to getting a site inspection conducted by the GOA COASTAL MANAGEMENT ZONE AUTHROTIES (GCMZA) as this is a clear violation of the COASTAL REGULATION ZONE (CRZ) Laws. With all possible concerned authorities contacted and no action taken, we turn to you for support as we try to have the concrete structure demolished off the public beach.
For all of you who live, travel or have moved here during the pandemic, we welcome you with open arms and hope you stand with us to save one of the very reasons you love Goa so much, OUR BEACHES. This maybe a small local beach today but what happens when it’s used as a precedent by hotels  to build structures illegally on public beaches? Think about it! Thus could happen at a beach close to YOU, next! Please help us set the right example and keep our beaches intact!
Would love for everyone to sign the petition and amplify this message and help us getting the word out!
We need YOU!
