As we encounter a new year we are seeing how
rapidly Covid cases are skyrocketing. Students and
staff have just resumed classes and our school's are
already experiencing the hardships of community
spread. We need to keep our children and staff safe
and prevent even more further spread. Our hospitals
and clinics are struggling to keep up with so many
people being tested, sick, and other underlying
illness. Why wait? Until it's to late to slow the
spread ? It's not about being vaccinated or not,
being pro or against it "people" still get sick. People
still need to seek medical assistance and covid
testing for work and schools. Our staff and children
have families they have to go back to everyday from
school who are elderly, or have other sever
underlying disease that put their life on risk if they
were to get infected. People are just returning from
international and national travel which will cause
cases to increase your even more. Not to mention
the mental stress this putting on many families. The
severity of any Covid variant dosent really effect you
until you have experienced the loss of multiple loved
once's or king traen hospitalizaciones. Having to
have our kids tested or quarantined to be able to be
in school every other week makes no sense. Lastly
please remember "school" can be done online and
main purpose is for "schooling" only not for
daycare. Why wait ?? Until it greatly effects your
family??
