Hi, I'm Lyric Cunningham. I'm against the "Don't say gay" law in Alabama because as a bisexual female and firm supporter of the LGBTQ community, I feel deeply offended by this ridiculous attack on the LGBTQ community. I especially disagree with the effect this has on schools and LGBTQ youth, school is meant to provide a SAFE leaning environment for youth, I myself am a middle school student and I am also friends with many people that are LGBTQ. This law also gose against the constitution regarding human rights. All because some dislike the LGBTQ community they think they have the right to try and change and control us. Being a part of the LGBTQ community doesn't hurt anyone in any way but we are still under attack for haveing our own views and feelings. If you don't agree with LGBTQ then fine, everyone has the right to their own opinion but there is a piont when it goes too far and others suffer because of it. I would greatly appreciate if anyone that sees this considers signing and helping bring more attention to this issue.
