Women comprise half of the global population. Women are our mothers, sisters, grandmothers, aunts, cousins, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and perhaps, spouses. To date, women in sectors of society are still deprived of human rights in education, economic wellness from commensurate salaries or access to business, in key leadership roles, health care and shelter fit to their circumstances. In first world countries or moreso, in developing countries. They are discriminated or set aside or not given equal rights to lead over males regardless if they are qualified or experienced equally or more than the males in their population of organizations, schools, or society. Women experience violence without help from others, they are marginalized in resolutions of conflict related to their rights on financial, health and education issues, moreso to lead and create good to great changes in society.

This petition aims to uphold women's rights by empowerment and support from global citizens and inspire women and young girls to do more for the greater good of our families, societies, companies, schools, institutions, and communities. Likewise to inspire men to support the women's causes in their respective environments.

This is a non-political and non-sectarian petition or movement. Initiated by WAVES For Peace Institute, Philippines.
