Residents and visitors to Granton, Tasmania need a footpath

Granton is the growth area of Hobart's Northern Suburbs but Glenorchy City Council is refusing to fund a simple footpath that would allow residents to exercise and to walk to Austins Ferry. Recently, a bike lane has been funded but this benefits people who ride to our suburb to take in the beautiful view. Glenorchy City Council is ignoring the needs of ratepayers. Help us let Glenorchy City Council know they need to take their basic infrastructure responsibilities seriously. Most of the local members of parliament have ignored the issue. We need to let them know that they can't ignore their responsibilities to provide infrastructure from our taxes and rates.
