We would like to request new updates equipment for the 7th Ave Park by creating this petition and sending it to the Mayor David Mayer. 

We would like a bigger play area with more swings. We currently have one baby swing and one big kid swing. The park is often used not just by the families living close by, but for those that are visiting for baseball games. The equipment isn’t big enough for everyone to play safely. We would also like the mulch that has weeds and grass growing through to be replaced with a pour in place rubber or rubber mulch. Also the addition of more benches would encourage longer play times, along with places for the young children and new moms to rest and relax. 

We see other townships, many that pay significantly less in taxes than we do that have far superior park systems with more amenities including bathrooms, and exciting innovating playgrounds. These new additions to our park are necessary for improving not only the recreational opportunities but the quality of life for those that live here and raise their children here. The Covid-19 pandemic brings to light how important it is to add new, upgraded and safe equipment to the park.
