This petition is in regards to a student athlete at Glenbard South High School, who has allegedly sexually assaulted multiple students and is a threat to the safety and well-being of South’s students. In spite of this, he remains part of the school’s athletic department and student body. While specific events and individual information cannot be shared with the community, the students of Glenbard South know that their voices are being actively ignored, disregarded, and silenced by the administration. The student in question needs to be held accountable and punished for his actions, such as removal from school sponsored extracurriculars, suspension, or expulsion altogether.
