The Winter Gardens at the People’s Palace has been a regular meeting spot for young and old alike. It was to get renovations done to it approximately three-four years ago, to make it a better place and to have this wonderful building for years to come. Now it’s been left to dwindle away to near nothing. I have now seen pictures and am absolutely angry that’s it’s been left to become like that. I have fond memories of that place, my parents got married there, gran had her 60th plus many more. So please let’s get this wonderful place back to its former glory and to it be packed with visitors once more. Glasgow City Council, Parliament, I’m calling on you to do something and help the People of Glasgow to get the Winter Gardens restored in Glasgow Green. The Winter Gardens in the People’s Palace is a place people recognise and want to visit and enjoy. Please don’t let it go to waste like you have done with the Glasshouse in Queens Park, Southside. We are not asking for much, and places are starting to open back up again once more…would it not be momento for the Winter Gardens in the People’s Palace to be back to its former glory as it would go down in history, but the Glasgow History so people can look back!!
