Glasgow City Council are currently making plans to enforce chargeable parking around the Royston and Dennistoun areas. Not only does this cause a massive problem for residents in the area, who will be charged £85 for a annual permit to park at their own homes, but workers in and around these areas (including the Royal Infirmary and carers).

Glasgow City Council are trying to justify these plans by advising it will reduce traffic in the area, but in reality it will force people out of both their homes and jobs.
