There is no valid reason the people of Glasgow should be robbed of our Christmas Market at George Square for the second year in a row when all other events are running. The reason isn’t valid. Even if the council were to shorten the market that would be better than canceling it altogether because apparently they are worked the traders can’t access George Square in enough time to set up whereas still allowing a crammed Christmas market to go ahead in St Enoch. It makes no sense! We have been a very accommodating city hosting COP26, now let’s give something back to our residents and a bit of normality after all the disruptions caused to our daily lives. We just want a bit of festive cheer again after 2 whole years without having to go through to Edinburgh to an even crammed Christmas market. This is for you the people of Glasgow ❤️
