Since the building of glasgow’s flood defence, there has been an infestation of rats in many areas.  This was an unfortunate side affect of necessary work to deal with the effects of climate change.

However, not enough has been done to deal with this infestation.  Indeed, the changes to the cleansing arrangements has provided an ideal environment for rats especially on and around the paisley road west.  Are shop owners and residents expected to pay their council tax and take their refuse to the dump.  Not everyone owns a car to make this viable.
