I used the facility regularly. Additionally it supports the councils reduction of carbon emissions policy when you don't have to drive to the Emirates or Tollcross.

My child's school use this pool and many have learned to swim there. If it is not there then future generations will fall by the wayside and will not have the basic skill of being able to swim .

We are always being told how important exercise is for all age groups. Why, then close all these facilities in the east end which has been shown ti have the lowest survival age in the UK. Crazy!!

I taught at Whitehill School for 12 years and often had a swim before work in Whitehill Pool. There were always many people using the pool at 7.30am, workers and retired people from the community. It would be a tremendous loss to the community of Dennistoun if the pool were to be closed.
