Kerrie Mowat started this petition to Glasgow City Council
I received a letter from Glasgow city council today to say my daughter cant get a place in st Francis primary (which is directly outside my house and in our catchment area)her enrolment has been denied due to no spaces and has to go to st brides in govanhill despite the fact that her brother attends st Francis. I was born and bred in the gorbals, myself and my sisters (aged 42 & 46)and my other child attended st Francis aswell as the one who is there just now but yet my daughter cant go there!! She attends st Francis nursery, has became friends with all the wee girls she was told she would be starting school with and has looked round the school and is used to it. How can Glasgow city council justify this decision? How can I be in 2 different areas at the one time to put my children into school at 9am and collect at 3pm its impossible.

I would ask everyone to help sign this petition to give to Glasgow city council and my local mp and hopefully change their decision
