This historical bridge should be left there as it is- could be just used as a footbridge! It should not be erased from history!!!

Maintain it as a pedestrian crossing and incorporate it into a walkway/cycleway.

It's a piece of history. The government's already destroyed so much in this area. A disgrace

I believe the Old Windsor bridge is structurally sound in it foundations. Yes it goes under flood water but has withstood such conditions for generations. Why not make it a public walkway ? The cost would be less. The bridge just needs reconditioning, not destroying. History cannot be replaced with modern structures. Our children will only see images in books or websites. Local communities losing their roots and where their district story began.

Because I don't want Windsor Bridge knocked down, we need to keep this little piece of history.
