Email the Premier your Christmas wish

NSW Disability Advocacy Alliance

Dec 21, 2018 —

“I don’t want a lot for Christmas. There’s just one thing I need”… and that is the peace of mind that the NSW Government won’t abandon people with disability who need advocacy support – especially at Christmas!

We told the recent NSW Parliamentary Committee inquiry into the implementation of the NDIS about our stories of the impact disability advocacy has had on our lives, and that committee report recognised the importance of disability advocacy. It recommends that the NSW Government provide ongoing funding and support to advocacy organisations beyond 2020 - exactly what you and I have been asking for.

Can you tell Premier Berejiklian and your local MP that all YOU want for Christmas is to know that disability advocacy, information and representation services will exist beyond June 2020?
You can email the Premier directly by clicking the link below - we’ve set up everything to make it really easy for you!

It’s time the NSW Government showed its support for people with disability and committed to funding disability advocacy, information and representation services in the long term – it would make for a truly special and inclusive Christmas!

Let’s put some pressure on The Premier to #standbyme now and into the future.

Thank you for your continued support of the #standbyme campaign.
