We need to close the loophole that is in the current state’s public health orders that provide an exemption for “inspecting a potential new place of residence”.
Locked down LGA residents are using this as a way to escape to the country, with no intention of purchasing property or to reside in the region.
We do not need a Byron Bay incident on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
We have an ageing demographic, limited hospital capacity and health resources not to mention the impact on what is left of our local businesses.
