To the Honourable Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales. Our objection is to replace all plastic cutlery with wooden cutlery. The petition of the members of NSW brings the attention of the House the wastage of plastic cutlery. We believe that by replacing this plastic cutlery with wood cutlery we would reduce the disposal of plastic in dumps and oceans. The undersigned petitioners, therefore, ask the Legislative Assembly to eliminate the plastic cutlery and replace it with compostable wooden cutlery.
