Now that Queensland have once again closed their borders, Tweed Heads residents will be denied access to the Gold Coast unless they are an essential worker or have a valid reason to cross. We live in the same region as people in Coolangatta but can't cross over.                                                                                              Queensland premier Anastasia Palaszczuk is quite willing to move the border check points further south but NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian is unwilling to because NSW police would have to man them as QLD police who currently man them have no powers in NSW.                                                                                                     Why should Tweed Heads and environs residents be locked out of Queensland again. We practically live in Queensland; there is only an imaginary line separating us.                                                                                                                                  Moving the checkpoints further south would be a huge benefit to border residents, especially the essential workers who cross the border each day and are forced to wait in a long queue each morning and afternoon.                                                        Why is the NSW premier so unwilling to listen to the people of Tweed Heads?
