More Bins Throughout Sydney

Littering is a huge problem Throughout the streets of Sydney. This results in too much plastic leaking into the ocean. When the plastic arrives into the ocean, sea turtles or other marine creatures mistake this plastic for food. If an animal swallows this plastic then it will cause the animal to die due to the plastics breaking down into micro plastics.

An obvious way to stop this disgusting habit is to simply add more bins. This is why I have started this petition, to not only warn as many people as possible about this but also to make a change.

Every year, approximately 100,000 turtles and marine animals, such as whales, seals and dolphins, are killed by plastic litter around the world. It is estimated that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish.

In conclusion, I have created this petition to make people aware of the littering issue we have throughout Sydney and the impact it has on the environment. We can try to stop this together by asking the NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian to install more bins. Thank you for reading!
