Under current lockdown restrictions no visitors are allowed to visit loved ones at Rookwood. Only funerals allowed of up to 10 people are allowed.
I would like this reviewed to allow up to two people max from the same household to visit loved ones at Rookwood.
Rookwood is spacious and allows people to be spaced out. Currently people are allowed to shop at The reject shop and Kmart, sometimes forcing people to be less than 1.5 metres apart. Visiting loved ones at the Cemetary is part of taking care of your mental health. I believe turning people away is causing so much harm to those that want to pay their respects and spend time with their loved ones at Rookwood.
