There have been a number of cases close to my age (30) who have been diagnosed with cancer. Routine checks like mammograms are usually for women aged 50+, however, it is becoming increasingly concerning that women aged 30 and below are finding out they have breast cancer. It is clearly attacking younger women and its about time routine checks should be available for all women, at least from age 18+ to put their minds at ease.

Speaking from experience, after I had been to get checked by the doctor after the 3rd or 4th time, he said he wasn't sure what more he could do to put my mind at rest other than send me for a mammogram but that I am 'too young'. Obviously you can't be too young for cancer, so why is there an age restriction on the tests?
