Many women are told by their doctors that they refuse to allow them to have their tubes tied or have a hysterectomy. Women are told “consider your husband’s wishes. You’re not married? Your future husband will want children. Adoption? No, you’ll want your own child.” Women are also denied birth control because their husband may want children. It should be illegal for any medical professional to refuse to approve birth control, tubal ligation or a hysterectomy. We are asking that there be an emergency Presidential Federal law that will protect and allow women to make these choices for themselves without interference.
We are also asking for an emergency Presidential Federal law that prohibits any state from completely banning abortion. If Presidential action isn’t taken, this country will start seeing US women dying at an alarming rate. Women are not the property of the US Government. We are hoping to have this petition delivered to President Biden.
