What a joke of a mascot the Seattle Kraken just unveiled.  The most logical mascot choice for a team names the Kraken is so obvious it must have taken some real talent to miss.  Why not have a kraken as the mascot for a team named the Kraken?  Was there a single hockey fan on the committee/research group used for picking this joke of a mascot?  It looks like they were trying to design a children's toy similar to the trolls kids had 20 years ago.  If the team doesn't want a kraken for their mascot then why pick that for the name?  If avoiding the scary Kraken then at least pick something that doesn't look like an outdated toy for small children.
