On April 6, 2022, Otis (the SLL desk cow) was wrongfully stolen from our desk. Otis, informally known as Angus, had won over the hearts of all of the OA's and guests that stopped by the SLL desk, and with a fear of mistreatment from those who stole Otis from our desk, I am asking that he be returned as soon as possible. 

Otis was loved and treated fairly, earning the trust and love of all of the stressed OA's at the SLL desk, and he was well on his way to earning his own Carolina Union polo with his reliable work presence and fun, lovable personality. The OA's cared for Otis, tucking him in as he went to bed each night in his own spacious barn around 6pm (yes, the OA's learned his sleep/wake cycles) and as he rose the next morning. 

On a personal level, many OA's have expressed their undying love for Otis, and seeing him was the light of working in what was, in Otis' absence, a dreary, empty environment. Otis was also able to roam free on the spacious desk in the SLL suite, listening to Disney tracks and soft pop artists on Spotify (though he never liked the music too loud). It is disheartening seeing that Otis, in an admirable come-back story from his neglectful past, has been forced into what he hoped to escape (as he told the OA's). 

I do personally regret to admit that I have not and potentially will not be able to move forward without Otis' calm, welcoming presence at the SLL desk. This is why I am creating this petition; Otis was more than a toy, more than a lighthearted knick knack. As we knew him, Otis was alive and full of personality. Otis loved looking out onto rainy afternoons at the desk. He loved the smell and taste of Wendy's fries and a slight sip of strawberry lemonade on Thursday evenings. Otis loved us, and we love and miss Otis. Please bring Otis back to the SLL desk.
