As you are all probably aware the s6 seating area has been taken away, it has been sitting there for years on end with no issues being raised/caused with it. As pupils, we are absolutely gutted and feel that this decision was handled very poorly and we haven’t been took into consideration at all with this. The social space is absolutely crowded and when it is junior interval and lunchtime when we have private study/free periods we do not get the opportunity to have a private time. We have had an extremely difficult past few years with getting our first year of exam results from non stop assessments after a 3 month lockdown and just recently sat our first SQA exams being our highers. As pupils we feel it is only fair we get the same quality treatment every past year has gotten and for the chance for us to bond as a year group on our final last year at school as we are not as fortunate as other schools and don’t experience the social events.
