Hi my name is Sarah Kephart and I am concerned about the safety of our children while attending public schools. Attached is the email sent to the board of education and their response 

They need to give New York State the option to go remote with their children due to rising COVID 

It takes covid at least a week to show up in your system..so that means these kids are walking around the school and classrooms with it for at least a week spreading it before they even get tested..the schools are saying they can't disclose information about what classes have had positive cases and I'm not having it. THEY NEED TO LET CHILDREN GO REMOTE!!! This is the email I sent to the board of education..if your concerned please do the same and also sign this petition to close schools for the rest of the year or at least give the remote option. They were not ready to go back and New York state knows this. There has been too many cases with schools just opening on Sept 7 ..The numbers they claim in the email are not backed up with the phone calls or the YouTube update videos from the board of education. And the teachers are saying they can't disclose if the positive cases were in their classes or not. ITS NOT SAFE
