Health care support workers have been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic along side nurses and doctors . We don’t get any accolades of bravery or thanks for our roles but we are the first ones blamed when something has gone terribly wrong! Working understaffed exhausted and doing our best we are asking for what was promised by Trudeau, a fair wage for us workers.

Ford stated in the media how support workers should be compensated fairly to keep continuity of care and to maintain the work force. We were temporarily given a wage bonus of 25$ an hour !! That needs to be the minimum wage for support workers who deserve this minimum living wage for the tireless hard work we do every day!!!!
