The middle schoolers in FCPS wake up at 5-6 in the morning every single day.  Well, it is not fun to wake up that early after a late night. Especially Halloween. Imagine all the tardies and kids falling asleep. They will not be doing their best work. And no one wants to miss out on Halloween fun. We are not asking for an extra day of school off. Monday, October 31, is a teacher workday. We are asking to switch the teacher workday to November 1. We will not be missing any school. We will learn a lot better and it benefits everyone.
