Alberto Castillo started this petition to Senator Elizabeth Warren and

Would you like to live in a world where you are discriminated and excluded from social groups? The US government pays disabled people $1,220.00 per month; not enough to pay for all expenses, therefore “the poverty rate for people with disabilities is 47%.” The solution to this problem is to increase the amount of money disabled people receive monthly; the number of impoverished disabled people will decrease and this change will lead to a better environment and a better future for the disabled people of today and tomorrow.

This topic of (DDA) diasbility discrimination act is a problem becuase according to ADD international, “They often live in isolation and are excluded from their communities, from the education system, from healthcare and other vital services. Sometimes, they’re even hidden away by their families. Many disabled women and children face a heightened risk of domestic and sexual violence.” This is significant because disabled people are suffering and being discriminated against just for being different. Discrimnation of disabled people is a big factor contributing to the alarming rates of poverty found in the disabled community. In conclusion sign this petition so disabled and not diasbled people can live a happy and free life.
