I just started rewatching Phineas and Ferb this summer in order to prepare for the newest season that comes with the revival, and I just finished watching episode 5 from season 2 ("Chez Platypus"). I feel so bad for Dr. Doofenshmirtz because he planned for the date to go bad but the Evil Girl and him really hit it off! I love, love, love their "Evil Love" music number, it goes so hard. Dare I say it's one of the best Phineas and Ferb songs, but that's beside the point. Anyway, they are so clearly soulmates! They have matching tattoos without even having planned it!

I understand the point is to laugh at Dr. Doofenshmirtz, but he deserves better! He is the best dad in the world and he can still be the comedic relief with a wife! I say it's time we give Dr. Doofenshmirtz his wife! He and the Evil Girl are meant to be! 

I would love to see an ongoing storyline in the next season of the revival where he and the Evil Girl actually become enemies! Since they ended the date with her having been hit by a ray of his inator which made her indifferent to him, and since she is evil as well, they should become enemies! I would love to see them become enemies, and then throughout the season or maybe even seasons (I'm unsure how many seasons the revival will have but this storyline could go on for the entirety of the revival) the pair have an enemies to lovers arc! 

Please sign this petition! I would love, love, love to see Dr. Doofenshmirtz finally receive the love he deserves. 

As a plus, it could help create a lot more tragic backstories about his love life and could result in Doof humiliating himself when competing with her/trying to win her back. I just think this should be considered. Please! I would love to see it!!!
