On January 17th, Calhoun R-8 held a board members where many parents and community members asked for change and for the school to move to a K-8 district. At this time the school has only one extracurricular activity, only 3 seniors, and limited class options. Every single high school student signed a petition to go to a K-8 and be able to go to neighboring high-school for more options. These students also spoke tonight asking why are you “holding us back, why won’t you give us opportunities.” Please help these children have more options.
