It's been proven that starting schools an hour later leads to higher grades and better mental health for students. It also increases overall attendance and reduces tardiness. Refer to these surveys for evidence:

After a review of these pages, it immediately becomes evident that the best choice for the students of Bingham is to change the school start time to 8:30. This would also mean changing the release time to 3:25.
