Hello all current, past, and future NKU Students & Faculty,
       As a former NKU student I was deeply heartbroken to hear about Mary Pat Kremer's passing. She played a key role in every students day to day life, especially those in dormitories. 
          Mary Pat, as we all called her, dedicated approximately 12 years of service to NKU. For what some would think is just sitting at a podium and swiping an Allcard, she was so much more than that. To me, Mary Pat was my home away from home, and I am sure she was that for many others. She would ask you by name how you were doing and actually care to listen to the answers. She was our campus grandma and I personally feel after all the love and joy she has given us over the years we do something for her in return.
      I come to you all asking to help memorialize Mary Pat by asking NKU to set some sort of memorial to thank her for her love and devotion to the students of NKU. It could be a plaque, planting a tree, naming a part of campus after her. I want future students to see her name somewhere in Norse Commons and think "I want to know more about this woman, she sounds like a real treasure." because that is what she was, a true treasure of NKU.
      As she once said in an article from The Northerner "As long as we're together, we're going to be happy. Do the best you can do, because it's going to be okay. And always remember that your feet are on frontwards. God did that so you can keep on going."
